Following the Water

Presentation

Music and sound nap

Following the water (Au fil de l’eau) is a hybrid creation for harp, mezzo-soprano, and headphones – conceived as a musical and sonic nap. The audience is invited to put on headphones and to settle into a comfortable position. Gradually, the acoustic environment of the space around them begins to shift.
What follows is a journey themed around water, inspired by poems by Maeterlinck, Apollinaire, Rimbaud, Verlaine, Queneau, and Garcia Lorca. This nap becomes a moment of escape, contemplation, and gentle daydreaming, carried by sound, voice, and flowing textures.
