Founded in 2008 by pianist and composer Thomas Nguyen, Collectif Io brings together artists, musicians, authors and creators for the creation of multidisciplinary works where music interacts with theatre, dance and visual arts.

Rooted in contemporary creation, Collectif Io has developed a repertoire of operas, « opéras de poche » and other hybrid and innovative stage forms.

Driven by a strong collective dimension and deep social commitment, Collectif Io carries out an ambitious cultural program. Since 2010, it supports a troupe of young performers and designs many workshops and participatory projects for the youth.
